Financial aid

Financial aid is available upon submission of a copy of the fafsa form required of college financial aid applicants and a specific request from the family to KIVUNIM.  Scholarship Funds are distributed throughout the year of application on a needs assessment basis.  Financial aid requests are considered AFTER a student has completed the full application process and has been admitted to the program.

A limited number of MERIT AWARDS are available to candidates who present superior academic records, college entrance exam scores and a history of school and community activism and social responsibility as reflected in their letters of recommendation.  Financial aid and merit awards can be combined.

In addition, your local synagogue, JCC, Bureau of Jewish Education and/or Federation may have scholarship funds available.  Call your local Jewish Federation directly to check on available funds and application procedures.  We suggest calling rather than relying upon email.

Call JNF as you may qualify for their very interesting revenue sharing plan. The Amy Adine Schulman Scholarship Fund is another possibility.  Google search for others. Students have previously received support from fraternal organizations devoted to improving international relations such as Kiwanis International.

* Excluding winter and Passover vacations and free weekends spent away from our Jerusalem base.
